I accidentally charged someone 12.00 as I thought she had bought one more item than she did. I found it when I did my reconciliation. How can I credit my customer back the 3.00 I overcharged her?

Problem with Square partial refund is that the system does not calculate sales tax for the refund amount.
Followed instructions and .... was told by customer service we would have to calculate tax on our own and enter in refund???? What?
