Using Square retail and a Square Register - How to I update?

I have a Square Register using Square retail and my software is 4.12.0034

When I go to Settings > General > About it sats software Update downloading 0% and never downloads. 

Is there a way to cancel that and try downloading again? I have done a factory reset a few times not and that has not worked.

SOLVED: I took it off Wifi and connected to the internet with an ethernet cable.
