Tendering a $0 amount.
Hi, We operate a service and maintenance company. Our techs spend a lot of time in the field. Anyhow to the question we do warranty repair for large manufactures, where the customer will not pay out of pocket for repairs but we would like to still add them to the appointment application, and still give them an invoice for their record. Is it possible to tender out transactions at a $0 amount?

I'm going to bump this as I'm also wondering the same. I have a similar yearly service that is free of charge, but still would be nice fr my records.

So- invoices have to at least have $1 added when issuing/sending them to a customer. But, you can add a customer to a sale and have that sale be $0 through the POS app. That way, the customer is tied to the sale and you're also able to add a note to it to reference.
Hopefully this helps! Let us know if you have other questions, though.
