I've added the UPC to the GTIN field in the item when I added it in. When I scan the UPC on the register it does not find it and asks me to create an item.
If I add the UPC to the SKU field, it works. Is there a way to have the item added to the sale if I keep the UPC in the GTIN field as I want to use the SKU field for a different number?
Thanks!

Scanning from the sales screen is always going to look for the SKU field for the UPC. There is no way to change the behavior of Square so that it looks for the GTIN field while scanning.

Thanks, I'll modify the items to use SKU.
