I want to use Square to accept credit card payments once people have booked an appointment. I have Booked (WordPress plugin) all set up and good to go. I am not going to be creating any “store” at all. Only selling Personal Trainer sessions. See here if needed - 1:1 In-Person Training for Boomers - Martin County Fitness
Can I use Square directly with Booked or integrate Square with it? I don’t want to use any more WordPress plugins…but I do indeed want to keep the Booked plugin. Thanks!

Hi @commdoor
I was just checking over your site. I'm a WordPress user as well. I have never heard of the Booked plugin so I wanted to check it out.
IF you want to take payments directly on your WordPress site, you may need to install Woo-commerce, and install and SSL Certificate, given that payment information would be exchanged.
I'm not sure if creating a payment link via Square, will work but that may be worth taking a look into if you are not looking to add more to your site.

Hi Dan. Thanks for your reply! Sounds like the "payment link" may be what I'm looking for. I'll give that a try in a bit.
I already have several WP plugins and to make this work with Woo Commerce would require 2 or 3 more Woo plugins. Trying to keep my site loading as fast as possible so to avoid adding multiple plugins (and the monthly fee that comes with Woo), I wanted to avoid that - if possible.
I do realize I can simply email customers an invoice or, via the virtual terminal, I can send them a payment link or just manually enter their card info in. If the payment link doesn't work well for me, I'll just use one of those methods. Thanks again.

Not a problem! Completely agree with trying to keep plugins to a minimal as well. One of my biggest pet peeves is going to a site that doesn't load up properly or takes forever to load up. Check out this site also. I know there are some paid plugins he mentions ( i use a few) , but some good info all around I've used for my site to get my gtmetrix and google page speed in the 90-100 range.
But hopefully that works for you, best of luck.
