Square Register Internet Connection Issues
Just switched to the Register from Square stand. I am having major issues with the register dropping the internet. I thought that it was maybe too far from my router so I hardwired it instead. Still having issues. Just trying to see if this is a common issue with the Register or if I need to call Comcast. None of my other devices are intermittently losing signal including the iPhone we use to run spotify that is in the same room. This is only happening on the Square Register. Maybe it is defective?

If you mean the stand alone terminal device with reader and pos software built in we have exactly the same issue. It started a few weeks ago and is driving us and our customers crazy !
love to know what the issue is and how we can fix it

@coastalb and @Ks2wo I'm sorry to hear this is happening! This is not expected behavior, so I would definitely contact our hardware/support team so they can help warranty the device if necessary.
Before you do, I would suggest making sure the Register is up to date and that you've power cycled it. Also, try another wifi source if possible, but I know that you've already attempted this @Ks2wo.
