Retail: SKU Barcodes in MS Word Using Code 128 - How to Create
We have a lot of small items that we can't use the large labels from Square Retail for. As a result, I was told to export the information and create labels externally. The SKU should use Code 128 as a barcode font.
I do that and the resulting barcode does not scan with the Square Retail Application.
Any ideas on what could be wrong? Shouldn't this work? How do you create smaller labels?

I'm sorry for this late reply @shopcottonrow! I asked a Retail Specialist to review your post and they think there are a few different reasons these aren't working:
- The label was created incorrectly and therefore the encoding of the SKU is incorrect.
- The print quality is very low, so low that the scanner isn't able to pick up the barcode.
- The SKU for the item hasn't been added to Square for Retail, so the barcode won't scan.
So that we can get to the bottom of this for you a member of the Retail team is going to email you to ask for a copy of your barcodes. They'll be in touch as soon as they can!
