Paypal question

I could not get the Square software to accept a UK postal code, and after repeated attempts I unsubscribed. I have had a PayPal account for years, but have forgotten the password. Two days ago I received an email from a stranger named Chris Winslow who cautioned me that he had received information about me, indicating that my PayPal account had been hacked. As an 87 year old I am fed up with all this and want to unsubscribe from my earlier PayPal account. Please help. If you can help me unsubscribe from my original PayPal account, I might then reconsider and try a Square account.

The email you received may not have been a result of someone hacking your account but actually a technique someone was using to try to hack into it. Regardless, here are help pages from PayPal for your questions.
