Multiple Variations Syncing WooCommerce and Square

Hello,

I have a square physical store and a woocommerce online store. I made sure that all the SKU numbers matched and started the syncing process to get the inventory counts correct. Instead of updating the inventory in Square it made a new variation with the same SKU number under the product. Have you seen this before?

Would it work correctly going from Square to WooCommerce as a one way sync only?

@hartfordprints Thanks for flagging this.

@Woo_Phil Would you be able to take a look at this post? I can escalate this to our engineering team but wanted to check with you if it's related to how the sync is completed?

Hi @hartfordprints,

When using the WooCommerce Square plugin, you want to allow the initial bulk sync to create the products. So for example if all of your products are in Square already, and the initial bulk sync that you do is Square to WooCommerce. Then you'll want your WooCommerce store to be empty. If you are going from WooCommerce to Square, then these products should NOT already exist in Square.

Otherwise, the required pairing process may not work correctly.

I hope that info helps a bit. With this in mind, please ty another sync see if you have any issues.
