Is there any way to set a minimum amount for online orders?

I am trying to set a minimum amount for online orders and can’t seem to find out of that is possible? Can this be done?

Yes. Click on "Online" from the main menu and it will give you another menu listing. From there you would click on "Fulfillment" and there you can click on "Pickup & Delivery" where it will allow you to set up the minimum amount you want.

Where does this setting live now?  I don’t see it in the fulfillment section or anywhere else…

Hello @pmarsland!

 

If you go to the Square Online Dashboard then Fulfillment on the left, select "Pickup and delivery" then click "Edit" next to the location of your choice. You'll see the "Minimum order amount" option in the next screen.

i appreciate your direction - I did finally find the minimum order setting, though I can’t seem to make it work. When I set the minimum amount for delivery as $13, I’m still able to create a test order for $10 that completes with no notice about a minimum order amount. 

is there some other criteria or switch that I haven’t figured out?

I'm glad you were able to find the option! 

 

Keep in mind turning on this option means only orders for pickup/delivery will have a minimum order amount. So if an order is placed for shipping, the minimum order amount won't apply. 

 

You also want to make sure you turn on the option for all of your locations, if you have more than one.

So where can I put the minimum order in for online orders?
