Hello @admohamed and welcome to the Community!
From Overview in your dashboard, you can see your pending and upcoming appointments as well as client messages at a glance.
To confirm a pending appointment, click Decline or Accept. Your client will be notified of your response.
- If declined, the pending appointment drops off the Overview page and your calendar.
- If accepted, the appointment moves to your Upcoming Appointments and is confirmed and reflected on your calendar.
Click any upcoming appointment to view the appointment details, make changes, or cancel the appointment.
You can also accept appointments directly from Calendar. Pending appointments appear on your calendar. Click any pending appointment and click Accept or Decline.
Hope this helps!

Hi @Jamesbw927, and apologies for the delayed response.
I've moved your post to this existing thread so you can see @ashc's response.
Once you click on the appointment you'd like to cancel on the Overview screen, you'll see the words Appointment Details at the top of your screen. Directly beneath that, you should see an option to Cancel Appointment.
You can also edit your settings so that you must accept or decline all appointment requests. To do this, from your Appointments Settings, look in the Appointment Preferences section for the Reservation Guarantee options. Go ahead and select "Business must accept or decline all appointment requests" and you'll be all set!

I wish I could manually accept calendar requests in the Square calendar. Right now customers can automatically except the accept their own calendar appointments

I have the same question. During my initial set up I clicked for appointments to be requested and then approved by me but I never receive an option. My coworker does so I am hoping I just clicked something wrong. Can anyone assist me?

I called support and they had me go onto the desktop version and there's a setting under online booking that has to be turned off so that the appt isn't auto booked. There's another setting that has to be turned on to allow you to approve appts.

Is there a way to confirm an appointment before the appointment is fully booked. As in the client requesting an appointment and I confirm that the appointment is booked, also be able to edit or add anything

Some things have been updated. My customers can now book with out me first approving date and time. Can someone show me how to change this back to allow approval before booking?

How do I set my appointments so that the customer must request an appointment instead of automatically booking one? I have looked it over a million times and cannot find this option.

I finally figured it out!!
You have to be on the desktop version. Once there you’ll click the “Online Booking⬇️” tab. You’ll see “settings” and there you should be able to adjust your online booking preferences!! Hope this helped
