Hello!
I'm not quite sure what you mean with this question. What data were you trying to archive? Were you referring to your sales, transactions, and deposit reports?

I am looking for a way to achieve items in our 'sold items' database. It seems the square remembers every purchase ever made through our square at our store, and this data base is large and comber some to deal and will continue to grow.
When it comes to making custom reports, especially when sorting by 'items' ALL the data needs to process before it will allow me to filter out what I want to see. This take a very long time to achieve a few simple clicks of the mouse.
I would like to dump some old information, but only in a way that would allow me to access it in the future if I should ever want it.

Thanks for clarifying.
Unfortunately there isn't a way to archive old item sales or get around the load time that the Square Dashboard takes for large item libraries or sales reports.
I've ran into this a few times myself helping sellers with their Inventory.
A quick tip would be to make sure your browser is up to date and cache cleared.
Also, you can try drilling down the date range of the report you're trying to run before you select the Item Sales report. This will prevent the Dashboard from loading all Item Sales. It might save you a bit of time.
