@Alikuiken I'm sorry to hear about this, it sounds really frustrating! The Samsung S8 Plus is compatible with both the chip card reader and the contactless and chip card reader. I'm not sure from your post which chip card reader you're using but the links below will take you to troubleshooting steps for each one:

The Magstripe troubleshooting steps can be found at Square Magstripe Reader Troubleshooting. The step about the microphone refers to your device's permission settings. You'll need to look up how to access those settings for your specific device.

I am interested in purchasing a printer.  I am a small business owner with a mobile business.  Currently we are using readers and 1 touchless reader.  Is there a mobile printer that does not need the use of the square stand in order to be compatible.
