Inventory Control
I'm new to Square.
I've entered my items into inventory, the only way to enter my inventory levels/counts is by location only?
I've sent 2 invoices from my computer and the inventory levels did not go down. Why?
I've used the square app on my phone, again the inventory level did not go down. Why?
This is my understanding so far...I enter an item, I have to select a location to enter my inventory levels, I can't see them all on one page.
I'm worried that if I take my inventory on the website, the inventory levels will not adjust, and if I'm selling at a trunk show my inventory levels will not adjust, then I will end up with orders I can not fill. Is this correct?
I'm starting to wonder if this was the right system for me.

I can help shed some light on this! You are correct in the fact that item inventory is controlled by location so you will need to enter your inventory for your respective locations.
While inventory tracking for items sold through Invoices is not currently available, if you are processing a sale (not sending a invoice) through your Square Register you should absolutely see your inventory adjust. You'll want to make sure that you are logged in under your correct location and your inventory will automatically be reduced as you makes sales through your Register.
