I have just signed up to Square for the process of taking credit card payments using Virtual Terminal for rental of our holiday properties. We own accommodation in the UK and Florida. I have read some conflicting information in the Forum and am a little confused.
I want to do the following:-
1. Accept UK credit cards to our UK bank - I assume this is fine.
2. Accept non-UK credit cards to our UK bank. We would bill in GBP and assume the purchasers credit card will handle currency conversion.
3. I would like to accept credit cards to our bank in the USA - from clients wishing to pay in USD. I am currently unable to create a new account registering our US address and US bank since the site requires to do SSN verification. I do not have a US SSN.
Any advice appreciated.
