How to turn tracking back on for bulk export?

Through some sort of error when bulk updating our inventory, the current stock quantity of our items and stock history were erased. I have back-up spread sheets to restore the current stock values, but every time I re-import, the stock quantity does not update.

 

It seems that this is because tracking has been turned off for all of these items. How did this happen? Once I turn tracking back on, I'm able to update the stock amount, but I can only manually turn tracking back on for each item one at a time. Is there a way to turn tracking back on in the bulk export? Otherwise it seems like the process will be tedious.

It's a bit curious that this is happening to you. 

 

 

What browser are you using for the import? That might help us get to the bottom of what is happening here. This should be tracking as long as inventory is enabled.
