How to set up Commission for service based contractors?

I am currently unable to have commission rate deducted from a service that my contractors are charging. My business doesn’t sell “items” which can have commissions taken out. We provide “services” and on my POS panel, all of the associated charges are set up for services only. How can I fix this? Or do I need to convert ALL of my service selections to items to track commissions ?

All employees can earn a flat commission rate for retail items sold.
