How to adjust and/or change remove the tax field from my limo anywhere sales.

I use Limo anywhere and each transaction loads into square with tax, changing the misc percentages to tax. we do not charge tax and I want to change this in square. How do I do this?

How can I change the order types?

@Ericb2020 I think you are classifying what you are doing as a service, but you would have to check with your local government/state entity to know if it is taxed or not (I would be careful, I don't know of much that gets by without a sales tax anymore of some type).  You can toggle on to include tax in the purchase price which would effectively do the same thing for you.  

 

Ultimately, you are responsible for remitting any taxes and showing tax receipts.  Your accountant can fix most of these things on the back end if it is justifiable.  A line on your report only means what you want it to mean and can back up with records.

I dont think you understand. When the payment is processed in limo anywhere it assigns some order types to the order created. Like "distance", "Mac fee", "Stc charge"

and "Tax" but these have not been created by me and they are wrong so.... any idea?

If these are orders processed via an integration (Limo Anywhere) and imported into Square they will no longer be editable once settled because our system doesn't allow transactions to be edited after they have occurred. I recommend reaching out to Limo Anywhere's Customer Support so they can point you in the right direction so that your transactions are processed in a way that meets your business needs.
