How to add text box to modifiers for items?

I am using Square for Retail and there is no Text Box option for modifiers . When I input the new t-shirt, for instance, under modifiers it is only the ones that were previously set up. it doesn't have the Create new option ... I really need a text box added and I am unsure it exists.

Appreciate you posting this feedback in the Community and giving us some insight on changes you'd like to see. 

I can get our Product Team tagged to look into adding this as a feature for Square for Retail in the future.
