How to add "upload" pictures to my submission form for clients

I am a cosmetologist and need to let clients upload pictures on my submission form they fill out. I is not an option from what I can see. Seems like a basic option these days. Am I not seeing it? How can I get this common feature in my question form to have a seamless flow for new guests?

Hi @Kristenaway,

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

Are you using our Appointments App, or are you taking submission form through some form of an Online Store/website?

Please let me know by replying in this thread. I'll keep an eye out for your response.

Hi @Alex_  - is this feature coming to Square Online? We need to be able to collect images in a form on the website as well (no appointments, just regular contact forms).

@here_apopupshop,

We do not have any immediate plans to roll out new features, but if anything changes we will be sure to update our sellers.

Alex! After two years are there plans now ???? This really needs to be a feature and Square needs to get the ball rolling on this! Customers need to be able to upload pictures through a form to send us. Any updates, please?

Hello @EverAfterBakery -

We continue to gather requests from our Square sellers regarding this feature. We will make sure to update you once we have more details. We appreciate your patience while our product team works on multiple product requests.

In the meantime, we would like to invite you to be part of our Square Beta Program where you can help us try Square’s tools and features before the rest of the world. Also, not sure what you use your submission forms for but you may benefit from our Form Builder integration. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Have a great day.

Thank you for replying. As for the Form Builder Integration, I already have contact forms on the website using weebly/square but what I need is for the customers to be able to upload a picture in the same form and have it emailed to us in the form response. Unless one of the templates in the form builder integration has an option like that then no, I don't think it will benefit me. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply @EverAfterBakery - I was able to double-check on this for you with one of our E-commerce specialists. If you have a Square Online form that you are using you cannot upload a picture as mentioned above, however, if you have a website that was created directly from the Weebly website you can upload a picture to a client submission form. Can we please get your website address?

Hi Sayra. Thanks for responding! I believe I use weebly to create the website. I go to my square online overview page, click on the left where it says website then click edit website in the drop down and it takes me to weebly where I edit and publish. I do not see a client submission form where you can upload a picture. I may be doing something wrong, that is not hard to fathom. lol. But let me know! Here is my website-

@EverAfterBakery

I was able to confirm that you are using Square Online to design your website. At this time, it is not possible to upload or attach a picture to a form. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. Doing so will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

At this time there is no way to switch to Weebly unless you create an account with them (with a different address) and you make sure to indicate that you wish to sell items.

While this may be considered a feature request thread, I suggest filing an official one on our Ideate boards.
