How can I make it so my employees/team only has access to certain locations?

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: How to hide locations at Square Dashboard?]

 

I have multiple locations tied to my account, one of these locations is co-owned and my partner would like to view the reports, however I do not want him to access the data for all of the locations. Is there a way for him to download the app (Dashboard) or use a website and only see one location?

Thanks for posting in our Seller Community!

 

Yes, using Team Management, you can create this individual a team profile, and limit their access to just one location. 

 

To do so, here's some instructions:

 

1) Head to the Team Permissions section of the Square Dashboard, and create their role. After creating their role in the Team Permissions section of the Dashboard

2) After creating their role, please create their team member profile under the Team Member section.

3) After creating the team member profile, you will see an option to Set up permissions:

 

 

 

4) While setting up permissions, you will have an opportunity to select which locations you would like this employee/team member to have access to:
