I purchased an item of clothing from a Square user on July 1st. She told me that I needed to sign up on here because she used Square and not PayPal. I have proof that I purchased this and she received the money. However, by the end of July, I still had not received the item I paid for. I have consistently asked for a tracking number and she keeps telling me she does not have it. By the second week of August, she told me that there had been a package mix up and that she mailed it out to me the weekend of August 12-14. Well, its now the end of August and I STILL have not received the package and she STILL has not sent me any tracking info. I'm very worried now as I have started reading about the refund process on here and it states that Square users have up until 60 days to refund. Will I not receive my refund now as its almost that time? How can I go about getting a refund now? I don't believe she would refund me as I feel like I have been lied to repeatedly. I wish this was like PayPal so it would be easier to get my $50 back. Any help would be appreciated.

you do not contact square to say that you didn't get your item.
go to your credit card web site or call the number on the back of the card and see what their process is for disputes.
square is simply the card processor just like merchant services or any other card processor. your credit card company will talk to square to determine if your request is valid and proceed from there.

Have you ever resolved this matter? I am in the same situation and if square cannot do anything then tomorrow I'd like to visit my credit card company and let them do what they must.

Read the previous post from VanKalkerFarms , that pretty much explains it. You need to contact your credit card company, and file a dispute with them.

In the same situation. Credit card company (Petal) rejected the dispute. My advice, stay away from Petal card.
