Creating a separate dashboard account for employee?

Hello,

I want to give one of my employees access to generating invoices using the dashboard - is there a way to create a separate account for them so they don't have full access to all my business info?

Thanks!

Hi @dsaxena_pdx!

I don't think that you can create a separate account for another staff member, but you could use Team Permissions to set them up as a manager and select what privileges and abilities you'd like them to have!

I've posted a screenshot below that explains a bit more:

If you navigate from your Square Dashboard > Teams > Permission and click on "Manager" you can then go to Invoices and toggle that option into the "on" position. You'll note that the menu on the left shows that Transactions, Reports, Balance, Messages, Shifts, etc. are all still in the off position.

This permission set would allow someone to create invoices (and work on projects, if you wanted!) without having access to the rest of your business.

I hope that helps! Let me know by tagging me in your reply (type "@" and my username).

@dsaxena_pdx You might also look at the iOS if you are using apple has a separate app just for invoices that could be useful.
