I am starting up a clothing store for square and I notice that it's showing all the categories. For example, if someone clicks on bottoms -> leggings, the category shows every category. How can I hide it? I want it to show only the Bottoms category and sub-category instead of the other category.

Categories cannot share the same name. Would Top Men's Items and Top Women's Items work? @Dennister

@Dennister Thank you! This is technically possible, but not recommended as it will require your customers to click on your navigation bar to switch categories rather than open that toolbar for easier browsing. Right now, it does take you directly to the Leggings section, but leaves the option open for customers to browse into, say T-Shirts, if they wanted.
If you would like to toggle this feature off, please do so under Items > Content in your Site Editor.
Below is the warning you will receive:

So, right now I am trying to make two different categories with the same name. For example, I am trying to make a top category for both Men and Women, but it seems impossible because all the items would just be in the same category or it would just make two different categories with the same name... How could I make a "Top" Category for both Men and Women that would show separate items in each one's?

I was just curious because I am trying to make a similar category to other mainstream websites. But, basically I would have to just put "Women Shirt" and "Men Shirt" instead of just "Shirts" for both men and women?

@Dennister - I've definitely seen categories like that on other website (I online shop too much lol). But you're correct, Women's Shirt & Men's Shirt is the way to go using Square Online.

So after doing this, in the men's section it shows the women categories. Is there anyway that I can hide it?
