Can you refund to a different payment method?

My customer paid in cash for her egift card but now wants a refund of the funds to her debit card.  Can this be done?

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

At this time, you wouldn't be able to issue the refund to their debit card if the original payment method was cash. When it comes to refunds, you can only refund to the original payment method, or to a gift card.
