I was wondering if it is possible to hide your address from my website?
I work out of my home and I don't want them to have my address until after they check out and recieve an order confirmation.
I tried removing it - I was able to just enter my business name in the "street address" line instead of the actual street address. But now how will I get the home address to my customers??

I don't believe that it is possible to fully remove or hide the business information.
Suggested from someone, you could leave your business name as is, in the "street address" and edit the order confirmation email in Store > Store Emails so that it includes the address. If you click on the "..." button next to the order confirmation email you can edit it.

Hi everyone,
My business is a private driving and accompanying service for seniors.
i provide a service which does not have a physical location but a limited service area. I only operate within the city limits of Toronto.
When setting up my map in the location and hours, it doesn't let me chose postal codes or city names, only actual addresses. is there a way to bypass this to show a general area?
(similar to how in google ads you can choose the exact areas to advertise to by postal code, city sections (eg. York, East York, North York, Etobicoke etc)

Hey @Juan_RST and welcome to the Community!
Can you clarify which service of ours you're using where you're setting this up at? Is it Appointments?
Or if you're just setting up locations, have you tried setting it up as a mobile location instead of physical?

Thanks for the welcome Ashley.
My mistake for not being more clear.
I am using square online to set up the website, the section to add an address/hours etc.
I have set up a mobile location but it requires an address nonetheless. I used my home which I don't want to announce publicly.
Hope this clarifies better.

Ah I was way off sorry about that haha @Juan_RST.
I moved your post to this existing thread where another seller asked the same thing. @Minion provided a good workaround above.
You can put your address down as your business name too as @1956 mentioned. I hope this helps!

I also don't want anyone seeing my address, as I also work from a studio in my home. I think it's a huge safety issue for us. We should be able to hide our addresses.

Hello, @Zebs, and welcome to the Seller Community.
At this time, Business locations need to be listed as a requirement for transaction processing. Even if Square would make the change and allow you to not display the address, your address would still be available to all customers that perform transactions via their bank statements.
I understand the issue of privacy this being your home and because of this, I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interest in your request.
Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

This is my situation as well. It is a huge safety issue to have my address public. How can we protect our safety by not having our addresses available to the public?
