Honestly, I don't know as this has never come up.  I don't know what Square POS would do if the iPad was connected to a Bluetooth keyboard, it might just ignore it and use the internal one possibly as a security measure.

Hi @Kylept22 - Thanks for your question. Are you referring to the Square Register (which will start shipping in the near future) or the Square POS? 

This third party Miura keypad pairs with Square POS, but I'm not aware of any others.

I am setting up square register.  The usb keyboard and number pad work great for entering new products, customer info, credit card numbers, and amount tendered.  But you cannot enter a varible price or custom amount? 

It would be very useful to have a keypad setting right next to the price computing scale to enter the price into square register.  It would be even better to have a scale integrated into square.
