Can redeeming e gift card for customer be made better ?
Customers making purchases repeatedly through their e gift cards would want some way for the system to identify them rather than inputting their name, phone, address etc on every purchase through square. I am aware that on my end I can store and access customer profiles and can charge sales to a customer. On customer's
end though, the whole e gift card experience isn't very seemless. Customer who are repeat shoppers should have some way to not have to enter all of their information when shopping using e gift card. There have been times when a customer entered all
of their information and when applying e gift card, wasn't able to place the order. The 'place order' button itself didnt process the request.

Thanks for sharing yours and your customers experiences @W_dirt1. I can say I relate to this, because I always delete emails that I later have to go back to look for because I actually needed that information!
When your customers are using eGift cards to make purchases through your Online Store, we don't have any kind of integration for the system to find their eGift card number.
We don't have any kind of resolution for this on our radar at the moment, but I can certainly share this feedback with our Product Teams. Thanks for bringing this to light!

When I sell a e-gift card I ask the customer to “screen shot” their number. So all they have to do is hand me their phone and I can type it in. Or I write it on their loyalty card. This helps a lot. Hope it helps you also😊
