Can I connect an ipad to my square register and be able to see open tickets for tables?

Can I connect an ipad to the square register so that my servers are able to walk around to the tables and add to open tickets?

You're not able to connect an iPad to the Square Register. However, you are able to use additional iPads that can be logged into your main account at the same time. This allows your servers to be able to walk around to their tables and add items to open tickets. 

 

Another popular option for table side service has been our Square Terminal. The Terminal is an all-in-one point of sale system that is hand held and very easy to transport from table to table! Check out this post for more info.

Thanks @nika .  When I log on with my iPad, i cant see open tickets that were entered from the register.  I can charge for whatever the customer orders at the time but not able to add on to open tickets.  Am I doing something wrong?

@seanxgolf The only thing I can think of is if you don't have the permissions "View all open tickets for all team members" and "View all open tickets for individual team member" selected in your own permission settings, that would be causing you not to see that information.

 

If you have both of those selected in your own permissions and you're still not seeing those open tickets, it may be time to contact our CS team. They'll be able to take a look into your account settings and figure out what the issue is!
