Amazon DNS Server Verification Code
I'm trying to verify my site with Amazon, and it's asking me to do this:
Example: The TXT host will be @ and the value for the record will look like amazon-business-verification=abc123def456gi789
The procedure to do so depends on the provider of your DNS service. Once the TXT record is added, click the "Verify domain" button under the Actions dropdown for your domain.

I am having the same issue and I see no one is replying, it seems they want you to upgrade by paying $144 which is $12 for 12 months. It gives the option of $16 a month but it seems that with that option, you still will not be able to do the verification because it only applies to the yearly plan, which is not right especially when you are just starting the business out of pocket. So, it looks like I will be looking for another website to put my products on to sell and will be able to sell on amazon without all of the hidden agendas. I am not happy with squareup at this point. I wish they would answer you but it looks like another hidden agenda of theirs to me.

Welcome to the Seller Community, @Kaaverse13 👋
I think there may be a misunderstanding regarding the plan levels, and DNS access. I apologize for any confusion.
A paid plan is required in order to publish your website to a custom domain. The plan level does not give you more or less access to your registered domain's DNS settings, though.
Is your domain registered through Square? If so, you can edit the DNS (and add the TXT record) by clicking Website > Domains > Edit (from the Square Online dashboard). If your domain is registered through a third party, you would add your TXT record through their website.
I'm happy to take a look at your settings if you verify the custom domain name for me. Thanks in advance!
