Accidentally marked an order as picked up. Can I move it back to ready for pickup?

Re: Accidentally marked an order as picked up. Can I move it back to ready for pickup?

This is a very basic feature for a reasonable e-commerce website.  Please implement this.

Accidentally marked an order as picked up. Can I move it back to ready for pickup?

Re: online order

Accidentally clicked twice on Mark as Ready button and ended up hitting Mark as Picked Up on an open order. Is there a way to revert the order back to the previous state instead of Completed?

Hey @SWBC

Once your order has been marked as Completed, there's unfortunately not a way to revert it back.  As soon as you click "Mark as Ready", an email is automatically sent to your customer (which you might have found out if they came to pick their order up pretty soon after.)

The only workaround here would be for you to send the customer a new email with updated pickup instructions.

Chiming in to say this would be a great feature to have. We have also accidentally marked an order as picked up when we went to say, print, or whatnot. The square online store needs a lot of tweaks, and I would appreciate this one (even though it is further down on my list of must haves: tax issues, completed sales reporting, POS inventory management, etc.)

I did this today by accident and I hate that I can't change it.

Oh my goodness why can't we undo a mistake like that. That's a problem.

Would like to be able to change the status at any time. Mistakes happen and being able to revert it back would be great.

Eek! What a pain. We accidentally marked an order "complete" when it is supposed to be delivered TOMORROW via our 3rd party courier (Doordash) via the online store partnership. Will Doordash still come tomorrow?

Hello, @8050rale

Sorry to here about your trouble. In situations like these is best to contact the courier as we do not directly receive updates from them when situations like these happen.
