Hi sellers! 

We’ve made it easier for you to manage orders and take payments on the Square Restaurant POS. You can now get started with:

• Fast, secure checkout with bar tabs—no more stashing credit cards behind the bar. Easily preauthorize bar tabs for quick, no-fuss checkouts for customers and protection for your business. Learn more →
• A new Orders tab: a single view of all your orders that you can sort, filter, and search however works best for you and your team. Learn more →
• Speedier checkout with scan to pay - customers can pay their bill by scanning a QR code on their receipt—giving your staff more time to serve more customers (Available with Square for Restaurants Plus and Premium plans). Learn more →

You can start using these features by opting into Order & Pay capabilities in your Square Dashboard. Visit Dashboard > Settings > Release manager and choose the devices you’d like to enable. Once that’s complete, turn on the features you’d like to start using in Dashboard. Starting April 1, 2025, all devices will automatically update with these features; Release Manager helps you get started early so you have more time to train your team.
