After awhile of playing around with Square appointments I can't find a work around that works right for what we need.
We have a many basic services that could have upgrades be added to it, such as an extra treatment, additional gloss (toner) service add on with your haircut appointment (etc.) I've tried adding some of these add on's as variations but it just ends up looking overwhelming and complicated to the clients. Currently we can add our add ons manually to an appointment however the next problem is it doesn't factor in the time for the additional service so we have to again manually enter the additional time required.
EXAMPLE
Client wants highlights. See's our highlight appointment and clicks it. Currently that takes us to 3 variations, of face framing, partial, or full highlight. Client than selects full highlight and is than prompted to the modifers which are gloss, olaplex, treatment, head massage. client selects as many as they wish in this case treatment and gloss, and an extra 30mins is added to the service to factor in the 10 minute treatment and 20 min gloss service.
Client than continues through the booking process as normal.
Hoping this is something in the near future as this would help a lot!
