Domain Verification with Facebook

Hello all,

Facebook has asked me to verify my domain. There used to be an integration option under website but it is no longer there so there is no way to add my meta tag to my HTML code.

Why would the option disappear?

Thanks

Hey @Bbmx, really sorry for the delayed response here and welcome to the Seller Community!

If you are still experiencing this issue can you please follow the steps below which are also outlined in our support centre article for connecting Square Online to Facebook and Instagram

  1. In your Square Online Overview page, go to Settings > Tracking Tools.
  2. Select Add new code.
  3. In the popup window, enter in the code’s name and the code itself into the corresponding fields.
  4. Place the Facebook meta tag in the header by selecting the < head > option.
  5. Select Save when finished.
  6. Publish your site from the Square Online site editor to add the code to your website and complete the verification.

Note: Using the meta tag method described above is the only way to verify a free Square subdomain.

Please let me know if this works!
