I changed the business location name then I was asked to provide all the documents, is it normal?
I am new to Square, I changed the business location name to my website link, so when customers see the charge on their bank statement, they will have better knowledge of it to avoid the likelihood of chargeback, but when I changed it, I was asked to provide all the documents to prove the business, but its not my legal business name, so I could not provide it, now Square declined all the payments from my customers, how can I sort this out?

Hi @JETEC
It sounds like you received an email requesting more business documents. I recommend following up with that email to provide the information they are requesting.
You can also clarify if you are able to use a URL as a business name.
Please let us know if you did not receive an email from the Account Services team.

Thank you for your quick response, I have not received any emails from Square, I just logged in and it says that my payout is blocked and I was asked to provide ID, bank statement, business proof etc..

No worries. It sounds like this was an automated flag. Once you submit the information you will receive an email from the team letting you know that they will be reviewing the account.
As far as the business name goes, I recommend putting the actual business name instead of the URL. Did you receive complaints that your customers were unaware of where the charges were coming from?
