Weebly For Web Designers and Square Inventory Syncing

I am planning to design an online store for my client using Weebly for Web Designers. Will I be able to connect their existing Square inventory to the site so that the inventory actively syncs between the online store and their Square inventory?

I believe this topic has already been addressed, but the answers seem to vary with different iterations of the Square/Weebly partnership, so I can't tell what is up-to-date information and what isn't.

It's not possible to connect to different Square accounts through a WWD account. At least not at this time. I don't believe the old Square sync works anymore, either. I'm assuming at some point down the road we will have some type of integration, although I don't have a timeframe at the moment.

Before we were acquired by Square we had a sync to between the two companies. This was available in main Weebly accounts, although I can't recall off the top of my head if it was available for designer accounts. The option used to be listed under Store>Items>Import Items.

So the only way to have that active inventory syncing right now is to go with a Square Online Store?

That is correct. Square Online Store will sync across all services (pos, online store, etc).
