Registration Form & Payment Option

Hello,

I wasn't sure if I should post this under ecommerce or building my page.

I am building a website for a youth football league and I am wondering if I can do the following:

1)  Have a registration area (would this be 'membership'?) for kids to register to pay, collect all required info

2)  Ability to pay the registration fee

3)  Allow for a downloadable form to print

4)  If all of that is possible, can I easily collect/export all registration info somewhere?  I would like to then export it to import into mailchimp.

If anyone has anything similar, I would love the URL to see as a sample.

Thank you!!!

Commenting so I can follow this board as well.  I have created something similar where I've created a registration form using Weebly's features and then direct them to a second page for payment.  As many have said, they will go to the second page and not pay plus, it's hard to match up the ones who do pay with the form collected.  I'm going to look into JotForm but am not sure the free version will provide what we need due to limitations.  It'd be great if Weebly had a form that would allow you to collect payment before submitting.

I often end up with 10 registrations for the same person because, despite how many notices I put up in red letters that say "Do not complete this form without payment," they still do it.  This way, I'd get one form and one payment...at the same time.

Hi @Kgree I may have suggested this on a different thread, but I think you should change the order a bit. Instead of having them fill out the form and then redirecting to payment page you should do the following:

1) Have them purchase the product and edit the order confirmation email to include a link that redirects them back to your website and onto a hidden page with a contact form.

2) When they fill out the contact form you can make sure to include a field that requires the order confirmation number.

Now you've guaranteed they pay before filling out the form and also have a way to match the payment to the contact form details. Smiley Happy I'll make a test site so you can see an example in real time.

@BernadetteI did see that somewhere.  I like the idea but it will not work for us.  They would never click on the link in the email confirmation to go back to the form.

Trust me...these people do not follow directions!  LoL

We need to collect the form information as much as we need the payment.  I guess I'll just have to keep doing what I'm doing for now.  Hopefully sometime soon, they will come out with a way to submit the form and checkout at the same time.

What if you state on the product page that the form is required for registration? I totally get what you are saying about people not following instructions, though! Thanks again for the feedback. Smiley Happy
