Custom Shipping Options

Is there any way to use custom shipping options? I've got most of my products set up under various shipping rules but I keep coming across things that just don't work well with the shipping rules. I'd like to just be able to say product X costs X to ship for some things.

I've literally just signed up to this site after being really reluctant to hand over money without seeing the shop, I finally took the plunge. I paid for the business package for a whole year, which is a big chunk of money for me, only to find this out after paying! These shipping options don't work for me at all! I'm selling clothing, I need to charge shipping based on cost + weight, not either/or but both! I also need it to be clear how much it'll cost if someone buys multiple items. I feel a bit tricked into paying tbh as had I had the option to try out making my shop before paying I certainly wouldn't have gone ahead with this! I cannot make my shop live until this is sorted and if it isn't sorted very soon I will be cancelling my site and expecting a full refund! Shipping needs to be fully customisable, who the hell came up with this idea it's awful!

Sorry to hear you feel that way, .  Our shipping options were just updated to include quantity-based shipping.  I'd recommend deciding which shipping option best covers the cost for you.  For example, if the main thing that dictates your shipping cost is the total weight of the item, then I'd recommend entering weights for your products and setting up your rates based off weight (since the rate used is based off the total weight of all the items in the cart).

If you don't feel this will work for you we can certainly cancel and refund the upgrade for you.

Thank you for your reply, sorry was just having a bit of a panic as I need to get my items up for sale quickly. I really I need to do seperate shipping for each item, it doesn't work on just weight as I make sure everything is fully insured so it needs to be price as well. I didn't find the multiple item bit helpful as they are all different weights and costs, it would be better to see how much each item would cost with another item. I have submitted a request asking to cancel my site and have a full refund as it's still within the 14 days, I haven't heard anything yet and I need the money back to make another site. Please could you tell me how long it normally takes to hear something back? Just an acknowledgement that it's been received would be great. Thank you for your help
