Why did Weebly unpublish my site when I moved it to free subdomain?
When I was notified that my Pro plan was being discontinued I decided to downgrade to a free plan. I researched on the forums and followed the directions to choose a free subdomain and cancelled my Pro subscription before my due date and published the site under the free domain. Then I checked to see that my weebly.com site was up and running. It was. Then today I get an email saying my site has been unpublished and to enter valid payment method to reinstate it. I checked - the site with my .weebly.com address resulted in a 404 error. Then I went into Weebly and republished the site to the free subdomain. It appears to be back up, but does this mean Weebly will simply unpublish my site again? There is no easy option or way to respond to say I want to keep my free site. I did what I was supposed to do in the back end. What are my options for keeping the free site? I did not have a shop and it was not worth the increase in price with my Pro plan being discontinued.

I did a chat with customer service to resolve this but didn't get an explanation as to why it happened. They had to remove the plan on their end even though I had cancelled it and already moved the site to a free subdomain (?) But if anyone has this problem I suggest doing a chat or call with customer service at weebly clicking contact us at the bottom of this page: https://www.weebly.com/app/help/us/en
Don't bother with the chatbot it can't help with this issue. Suggest chat over phone if English is your main language as I don't think customer service is in the west and there is a better chance of understanding each other in text form.
