Why does my image show when editing my theme but not on my published website?

Hi,

I'm having issues with an image that shows in Theme Edit Preview mode, but doesn't load once the site is published.

as you can the centered image right under the menu doesn't show.

I added the image by modifying the Landing Page template.

Can anyone help? I'd be grateful. Thanks !

Hey @amberflynn!

Is that an image you uploaded while editing the theme? The filepath of images uploaded while editing a theme is different within the website editor vs the published website. Any files uploaded there should have the file path of "/files/theme/filname.jpg" on your published website. That path will also work within the website editor and theme editor once you've published your site again.

Indeed I uploaded the image while editing the theme. I fixed the file path with what you gave me and it now works !

Im faced with the same problem of picture display when editing weebly page but when site is published pictures are not shown.

Where should the path to be changed? on my computer by creating new folders?

Under Edit HTML/CSS I see only three folders,

1) Headers

2) Partials

3) Assets

I recently I upgraded weebly basic to Pro to use its additioanl features.

I am trying to upload pics of my product and so far it has been great unitl now.  I can see the image on the preview mode but once it is published, no image appears.  I downloaded a few images and none worked so I took a photo of the product myself, emailed it to me, and downloaded to my computer.  Still not working....my website is theartcorner.com.  Under 'Shop' it's the Windor & Newton item.

Mine is visible during editing the post, but not visible when viewing via a Browser (for my readers).

I have not edited the theme in more than a year, and all I edited was the header image, which works OK.

The problem is in the blog posts - which worked fine the first four posts. The fifth it stopped working.

I tried deleting the post and re-creating it, and it did the same thing. I even deleted the entire BLOG page and re-created it and when I got to the 5th post, the picture would not display. TWICE!

Please help!

Hi, I'm having the same issue - image not showing in the editor but showing once page published. What am I doing wrong? I want to delete one of the photos I uploaded twice (because I couldn't see it was uploaded the first time) and reorder. I tried two different browsers and having the same.
