lost header image once exported to a different host

I have a website that I update using weebly online. I am able to publish it on weebly.com with no problems. However, when I try to host it in a different place (and I REALLY need to do this), using the exported archive, it looses the banner image (it appears all grey instead). I tried already different themes and I always get the same problem. I used to do this for more than two years and I can't believe this is not working anymore Smiley Frustrated Any ideas how to fix this?

Use weebly as a host Smiley Wink

Seriously, when you export the file only the content area gets exported. This also might be a way for weebly to prevent the leakage and make people pay for their services.

I do use the weebly as a host as well Smiley Wink But I need to have a copy of the website hosted at my institute's domain (and there is no way around this Smiley Frustrated) I used to simply copy the folder contents and all was fine. But now it doesn't work... Smiley Frustrated (and I do pay for the starter plan... )

Hi there!

When you upload an export of your site at another host, you need to reupload the images and then change the HTML code to direct your image link to your new hosting. All of this will have to be done with HTML / CSS since you're not using our builder anymore.

Are there any easy to follow instructions on how to do that? (I am not the most literate person on this...)
I tried to search in the CSS where the image header is defined but I got lost Smiley Frustrated
