i have changed and image on my blog post whihc has led to the content of the blog disappearing
I am changing the images of the blog posts. I have done for two now and all the text has disappeared from the preview as well as when I publish. When I click I to edit the post - all the text is still there. For example this post - if I go into edit - the text is all in there: https://www.themarketinganu.com/blog1/ep189-digital-advertising-privacy-can-they-coexist
At this rate I am going to leave weebly and move to Wix

This is an ongoing serious issue which is impacting more than just you at the moment. It's happening for both new posts and updating old ones. The issue is stemming from the use of Weebly's own embed code element. I've contacted tech support three times now and they tell me they're working on it but it's been over a week with no solve at this point.

@mattynegs Can you also post a link to your blog? I want to make sure the bug has been filed properly, and that you both are tagged to receive updates when the engineers resolve this issue.

Thank you both. This issue has been flagged as a bug, and has been escalated to the engineers for troubleshooting.
If possible, one work around is to remove any embedded code on the blog post. I realize that this may not work for people that rely on embedding content, however, removing the code will at least allow text and images to display.
We appreciate your continued patience, and I will try to update the thread whenever I hear of any updates.

@Bernadette: I have removed the embedded code in my post, unfortunately, the display of the text still does not work.
Don`t know if the others have the same prob after deleting the weebly code-elements

Hi @musikzumm Hmm... I know there was at least one person that reached out on Twitter that confirmed they were able to display the post after removing the embedded code. Did you try clicking the "update" button after removing the code?

@Bernadette Unfortunately not using the embed code element is not a solution since that's how we share our podcast and get revenue from Google adsense amongst other essentials. Really need this escalated to the engineers right away because this is highly detrimental to anyone hoping to have a highly functioning site that updates daily. Thank you.

Hi @mattynegs I totally understand that removing the code will not work for all users, like you, for example. The issue has been escalated to the engineers, and I believe the priority has been bumped up since the issue is driving a lot of contacts to support.
I'll make sure to post any updates (and new work arounds suggestions) here as I see them.
