how to change background colour showing on transparent file

Hi, I have a transparent eps file that i want to use for my header, it is showing it will be displayed on white (it is transparent) but then changes it to black on the page.  It is theharmonyprinciple.   HELP!  Have tried live chat several times but can't get anyone, or I do and then i get kicked off because they disappear.  Have also emailed but had no answer.

Thanks for your post, @damebrockwell. If you have something like the Preview app in Mac OS installed on your computer, I would try opening your image in that an exporting it to a JPG. That should give it a white background in transparent areas I think. You can also do this using a free image editing program like GIMP, although if you've never used that program it's probably way more application than you need for something simple like this.
