header background image getting 'squished'

hi, sorry if this has already been adressed, but can anyone help fix this problem:

My header background image (either jpg or gif) get's 'squished' horizontally when switching to Mobile.

Most of my clients are using mobile, so it's a very big issue for me.

ANY help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the delay @Abemis! That's pretty squished for sure. Perhaps it is the size of the image causing the distortion. What is the url so we can check on our mobile devices?

Is your original image very tall?

No, it looks perfect aspect ratio on the desktop.

It looks like you are using a .gif as an image background. Something in your custom coding is causing the mobile image to squish, but I'm not sure what that would be. I made a copy of your site so you can see how it works on a standard theme: copyabermis.weebly.com
