delete link

Dear Weebly,

I have just deleted the following website:

http://midtermaisc2018.weebly.com

However, the following link is still active:

https://midtermaisc2018.weebly.com/uploads/9/1/7/7/91777444/genova-citta_3_orig.jpg

I would really need that such a link would be deactivated so that the pic would be no more visible. Would it be possible?

Thank you very much for your support,

Hi @FilDom. I've removed the file for you, so you should be good to go.

Dear Admin,

thanks a lot for your quick reply.

I am afraid the page is still active. If I click on the link, the pic is still visible and the file is still available:

Thanks a lot for your support!

Sounds like it might be cached for you. When I visit the link I get a 404 error. Try clearing your browser cache or loading it in another browser.

Thanks! You were right! Now the problem is solved. Thanks a lot for your support.

If I may, I have another problem: while I deleted the aforementioned site, I have also canceled this other Weebly website of mine:

http://xpragit.weebly.com

Would it be possible to restore it?

Thanks a lot again for your help once again!!

FD

Not a problem; I've restored that site back to your account for you.

Hi Adam,

thanks. However, if I click on the link:

https://xpragit.weebly.com/

it still gives error 404. Moreover, the site is absent from the lists of my sites on my Weebly HP.

Is it possible that it could take some time to be available again on the web?

Thanks again for your support,

Best,

F

Since it was deleted the site address reverted to a string of numbers:

589645331496349073.weebly.com

All you need to do is open that site in the editor, set the site address back to what you had before, and then re-publish.
