color full width?
I'm working on porting a site from Wordpress to Weebly. On the original site, I built div's with a blue background color that went the full width of the content area, see screenshot below:
original version
The closest I've been able to get to in Weebly is shown in the screenshot below:
weebly version
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the blue box wider than the default text content column?
Thanks for your help.

There is no "section" element available on the Build screen.
Further searching around digs up this:
"Note: Sections is not available for older, non-responsive themes or custom themes."
https://www.weebly.com/blog/sections-flexible-headers-and-video-backgrounds/
I started with a theme right out of the standard Weebly library called "Cento", appears Weebly's own themes aren't up to date. If this information is accurate I'll have to dig around and find a new theme to be building on.
The site in question can be viewed here: http://ptldev.weebly.com
It's otherwise 90% done.

Here you go. There's no "section" element in the space all the examples say it should show up. I don't know how the theme could be old – I just selected it from the Weebly default library in December.

@Stephen_Peters Did you modify your page header html? This is the structural html for each page header type and is reached in the Code Editor (in the Site Editor, click Theme > Edit HTML/CSS and you'll find the page header types at the top of the left-hand sidebar). If you removed the section mustache elements from the html, that may remove the section element from appearing in your Site Editor tools sidebar (because the absence of the section mustache elements will make the Editor think that it's dealing with an older Weebly theme).

One of my websites uses a highly customised Cento theme and SECTION element is still there on the left under STRUCTURE. This is strange.
This may be helpful, though
