blurry images
Hi,
Any image in any size i upload is blurry.
I have a vous classics fullscreenslideshowslider which worked perfect an every image was the same quality as the source.
Now every new uploaded image looks blurry and very very unprofessionel.
this is really a very big problem for me.
I am a cg artist an cannot compromise in quality of my renders...
any ideas on how to fix this?
Thank you!!

You may want to think about hosting your images else where and them in the slide show.
Also, it seems that weebly does not compress header images. You may want to insert the images as a header slide show.

We're also looking into making some changes to our compression settings, so this should improve soon.

Weebly needs to set their image default to a much higher DPI than 72. There's no reason to have it that low.

Web browsers don't display images based on DPI/PPI:
The quality of images after uploading is determined by what, if any, compression is done do the image during conversion. Our engineers recently tweaked this to improve the quality of uploaded images. That won't change something that was already uploaded, but newer images should look better.

I'm having a similar issue as well, but not with a slide show. I'm a photographer who show cases my images so you can see that this is an issue. If Weebly is compressing images to the point of distortion then after my contract is up I will move on to Squarespace or Wordpress. I'm not trying to come off as a jerk but this is business and I can't afford to lose business due to because this issue and Weebly should feel the same way.

My website is based around during "images" and now any new photos I add look awful.
It's very embarrassing.

Same here. Every image is smaller in size and blurry. I used these same images a couple of weeks ago to build the site and they were razor sharp. Now when I upload them they are small blurry version of the ones already posted. Weebly Rep. basically told me it was my issue and didn't have anymore time to devote to "My" issue.

I lost a lot of time with this issues.
Hosting the images on my website and adding them with the url worked for me
Very sad that weebly didnt fix this problem and provides very poor customers support.
it allmost took a day for me to get it working...

Hi! I was having this problem too when using the GALLERY imager setting, however, if you just use the individual IMAGE option in the builder, you can create a manual gallery (takes a little more time, I know...) but you will NOT lose image quality!
Hope this helps!!

we've been complaining about this for a year and Adam (Community Manager who replies to these posts) keep telling us the same thing: we know its an issue and we're working on the problem.
and yes, we've tried using PNG and 72dpi yet they still look blurry.
i built two new site this month and still have this problem in header and footer

I am an artist and this blurry image issue is totally unacceptable. I am looking to switch to Wix since it looks like Weebly cannot/will not/doesn't care to fix this problem even for Pro accounts.
