background color for footer.

Hi there

I was wondering if you could help me out on the footer problem.

I have found a few of the posts wth the same subject and i have tried them all but it didn't work on the theme that I have. The theme is the birdseye with white background for the footer. I like to change the color that i like to use and it didn't suit the theme of the site that i have. And at the moment, I am still updating the site for 2019.

Can you help me out? The website is; www.whoishenow.com.

The colour i am thinking is a few shades of brown.with more like the tree.

Okay, so a darker shade of brown than what you are already using throughout the site? Is there a tree image on your site somewhere or are you just thinking dark tree bark in general?
