Video preview image does not display
One of the websites I am building for a client has several video clips (she is an opera singer). Of the five videos, one of them does not display a preview image before played; this is only a problem on some computers, all with different internet connections. All you see for that video is the gray bar with the play button on it until you push play and then the video pops up. You see straight "through" the video before play is clicked on (you can see the background color of the section). This video is not the largest of the five videos that are on the page, but it is the only one having problems. I tried deleting and re-downloading the video and moving it around on the page. This is actually a problem on my client's laptop, but not for my device so it is also difficult to troubleshoot.
I feel like I must be missing something obvious. Does anyone have any experience with this or know what might be going on?
Thanks in advance!

What's the URL of the page where you see this, @WynneMc? Do you know what the browser and operating system is on the computers that have trouble?

The URL is www.brookeclarkgibson.com but I should have added that the page is not live yet so these problems are occuring in preview mode. I don't know the specific OS, but some version of Windows and the browser is Chrome.

Hmm... strange. Can you try deleting that video element and adding a new one?

I've tried that and it doesn't resolve the problem. I went ahead and published the page so it is currently live, and I was able to recreate the problem in both microsoft edge and explorer (although it is still fine in chrome). I was going to see if cutting a frame or two off of the front of the video would solve the problem.

Maybe it's something specific to the video file itself. I saw what you saw with Chrome, although the video still played properly. Can you try re-encoding the video and uploading that?

I'm now having this same issue. I've checked in different browsers; I've reuploaded, deleted element and started again etc. Nothing resolves this; I've got a pretty ugly blank spot surrounded by other portfolio examples. Is there a fix for this? Thanks

As an alternative to our HD Video element, you could try one of the video solutions from the App Center, @charmedimsure:
