Video Resolution Problems

Hello there, 

I apologized if this has been addressed before, but I am new to using the WebEditor and adding videos. I shoot and create special videos for the site, but when I upload them, the resolution is poor, and the video is zoomed very far in. Is there something I am missing? A template for video size for the headers?

What dimensions, file format, and size is your video @Jenny13? It sounds like the dimensions are too small, so it's being expanded to fill the background area.

Hi Adam!

Thank you for the idea on what could be causing this.  I can check on the dimensions for you, as I felt like that was the issue as well. I have been trying to find any sort of template, or video size suggestion, but cannot seem to find anything. Do you know if Weebly has any guidelines available?

I would go as big as you can, since it's easier to convert a video to smaller dimensions than the other way around. I'd make sure that your video is 1GB in size or smaller and saved as one of these file types: MOV, MP4, M4V, WMV.

Thank you for the feedback. I am currently trying to upload a new video that is much larger in size, and just under 1GB. It has uploaded, but has been processing for the last three hours. How long are processing times normally?

Which page of your site did you add it to? It'll vary depending on video size and format to some extent.
